Alex Ozone, who is known to be a seasoned artiste manager, has come up with claims that the YBNL boss Olamide receives the highest pay for international shows. While fans would normally suppose that Wizzy receives the greatest pay for international shows, Alex’s states otherwise. As the seasoned artiste manager that he is, he’d hardly be wrong.
He made this known in a recent chat with Showtime while discussing the amount of money Nigerian singers charge for performances in the UK and US. According to Alex Ozone who has been managing and exporting Naija artistes abroad for 17 whole years on the wings of his management company (03 MEDIA), Olamide Badoo is the highest paid of all.
However, he noted that the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, and Kiss Daniel are worth a fortune. But then, none of them equals Olamide, despite the indigenous rapper that he is. Speaking in the interview, Alex Ozone said; “The business doesn’t have a fixed price. It depends on the artiste. I can’t tell you how much each of them is worth. But like I told you, I’ve worked with Wizkid, Tekno, Oritsefemi, Patoranking, Davido, Terry G, Kiss Daniel, YQ, Skales, Olamide, and Timaya. They’re all good. They know their worth. But in the whole world, Olamide has the highest rate.”
